I went to NC State for my undergrad and had a great experience! Tons of resources for basically anything you want to do. I would recommend the school to anyone considering it. I got a high quality education and had access to a lot of opportunities for my academic, professional and personal growth.

The food is abhorrent, but everything else is ok. I really like the location though, a lot if within walking distance. Only thing I will say is use whatever resources the University offers like the Women's Center, LGBTQ Center, Multicultural Center, etc.

The campus culture is very warm and friendly compared to other schools. The professors are usually great and so much support is offered to so many groups of people. It is an ideal school if you plan on going into engineering.

NCSU has great common areas, and the dorms are pretty nice. Since it's a big school, it can feel a bit isolating, but if you ask for help, someone will be there to assist you with anything. The staff and professors are really great and care about their students. The dining hall has unique options that can be hit or miss, but I enjoy the variety.

Good school overall no complaints I'm happy. The only con is the library tends to get overcrowded at times along with the rest of campus. But with this being such a large school it has many clubs and resources. Many professors in major courses are willing to get to know students and try to be helpful.

Overall, NC State is a great school. However, everyone seems to have their own friend groups and sticks to it. It can get very isolating at times, but don't be afraid to try and get out there to make friends.

NC State gave me the opportunity to go to a big school through scholarships and opportunities they give. I feel at home here and I genuinely think that this is where I belong and I have the most amazing support system. I am a student at the College of Ed and I am proud to say we are the best college in the state and one of the top 30 in the country

I LOVE NC State! Not only are there numerous ways to get involved with clubs and career opportunities but the faculty and staff really care about your success! Some classes are more challenging than others, but doing able with hard work! Everyone on campus is friendly and Case for breakfast and lunch makes the meal plan worth it! Go PACK!!!

Not exactly sure why everyone rates the food as being bad. As someone that had a food plan every semester until senior year, I can say the food is better than I could've asked for. Sushi, tiramisu, orange chicken, all day breakfast, Belgian waffles, and more. At first it may be hard to find the kinds of things you like to eat, but they are there!

Beware of sending your kid to hear. If you want to go here, ensure you already have a good support network because your mental health will be challenged. Parents, be watchful for your student because the school will not be.

Please do not go here unless you're a frat guy/sorority girl. This place is like high school revamped I hate it here and was miserable the entire time I spent here. Do not by any means live on campus the dorms are so small you can barley even stand up straight without hitting your head on something.
