The Codebreaker is a piece of constructible furniture that is upgraded throughout progression, and is required for summoning the Exo Mechs. Many find the method of completing the Codebreaker a confusing or daunting task, so this guide is made to simplify the steps required as much as possible.

Steps
Preboss
0. Throughout this guide you will need to explore all of the main Arsenal Labs, these labs contain Power Cell Factories which produce Power Cells when placed by the player. Each lab has 4 Power Cell Factories, and you will want to mine, pick up, and then place them ASAP in order to reduce how long you will need to wait to get all the required cells.
NOTE: If you are reading this guide and are already post Yharon, you will need to wait just under two hours to produce all the cells needed with the factories from all of the main labs. As such, it may be advised to just cheat in the power cells rather than waiting.
1. Craft the Codebreaker Base, this item is much larger than it initially appears in order to accommodate for future upgrades, so ensure you have adequate space if you cannot place it.

2. Locate the sunken sea lab by exploring the outside edges of the Sunken Sea, or using a Cyan Seeking Mechanism, and obtain the Schematic (Sunken Sea) from one of the chests. This schematic will unlock the recipe for the next piece of the Codebreaker.
NOTE: this schematic can occasionally fail to unlock recipes when in multiplayer, throwing this schematic to another player should force it to sync, if not you may need to complete step 3 in singleplayer if the recipe does not appear.
Post Skeletron
3. Craft the Decryption Computer, this can then be placed on top of the Codebreaker Base.

4. Locate the Planetoid lab by exploring in space above spawn, or using a Yellow Seeking Mechanism, and obtain the Encrypted Schematic (Planetoid) from one of the chests. This schematic will need to be decrypted to unlock the recipe for the next piece of the Codebreaker.
5. Interact with the Codebreaker to open the UI, place the Encrypted Schematic (Planetoid) in the bottom slot, and 500 power cells in the top slot, and then click to begin decrypting. You may do other things while waiting for this to finish, and when text appears above the player informing you of new unlocked recipes, you may move on to the next step.
Post 1 Mechanical Boss
6. Craft the Long Ranged Sensor Array, this can then be placed on top of the Codebreaker Base.

7. Locate the Jungle lab by exploring anywhere in the underground Jungle, or using a Green Seeking Mechanism, and obtain the Encrypted Schematic (Jungle) from one of the chests. This schematic will need to be decrypted to unlock the recipe for the next piece of the Codebreaker.
8. Interact with the Codebreaker to open the UI, place the Encrypted Schematic (Jungle) in the bottom slot, and 950 power cells in the top slot, and then click to begin decrypting. You may do other things while waiting for this to finish, and when text appears above the player informing you of new unlocked recipes, you may move on to the next step.
Post Golem
9. Craft the Advanced Display, this can then be placed on top of the Codebreaker Base.

10. Locate the Hell lab by exploring the side of hell opposite the Dungeon, or using a Red Seeking Mechanism, and obtain the Encrypted Schematic (Underworld) from one of the chests. This schematic will need to be decrypted to unlock the recipe for the next piece of the Codebreaker.
11. Interact with the Codebreaker to open the UI, place the Encrypted Schematic (Underworld) in the bottom slot, and 1750 power cells in the top slot, and then click to begin decrypting. You may do other things while waiting for this to finish, and when text appears above the player informing you of new unlocked recipes, you may move on to the next step.
Post Providence
12. Craft the Voltage Regulation System, this can then be placed on top of the Codebreaker Base.

13. Locate the Ice lab by exploring anywhere in the underground Ice biome, or using a White Seeking Mechanism, and obtain the Encrypted Schematic (Ice) from one of the chests. This schematic will need to be decrypted to unlock the recipe for the next piece of the Codebreaker.
14. Interact with the Codebreaker to open the UI, place the Encrypted Schematic (Ice) in the bottom slot, and 5000 power cells in the top slot, and then click to begin decrypting. You may do other things while waiting for this to finish, and when text appears above the player informing you of new unlocked recipes, you may move on to the next step.
Post Yharon
15. Craft the Auric Quantum Cooling Cell, this can then be placed on top of the Codebreaker Base.
