Rita Ayotte, 80, TI retiree

ATTLEBORO — Rita Jeannette Ayotte, 80, of 81 Falmouth St.,Attleboro, died Thursday at Sturdy Memorial Hospital,Attleboro.

She worked for 33 years as a quality inspector at TexasInstruments, Attleboro, retiring in 1983.

Born April 7, 1919 in Woonsocket, R.I., she was a daughter ofthe late Joseph and Delia (Dugas) Ayotte. She lived in Attleborosince 1941.

She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church,Attleboro.

She was educated in Jewett City schools in Jewett City,Conn.

She is survived by several cousins, including Raymond C. Amadioand Jeannette Brassard, both of Attleboro, and Eleanor Lagrace ofTaunton. She was also the sister of the late Eva Ayotte.

A funeral will be held at 8 a.m. Monday from the Duffy-PouleFuneral Home, 20 Peck St., followed at 9 a.m. by a funeral Mass inSt. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main St.

Burial will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Lisbon, Conn.

Loretta McMahon, 82, owned beauty salon

NORTH ATTLEBORO — Loretta M. McMahon, 82, of 130 East WashingtonSt., died Friday at LifeCare Center of Attleboro. She was the wifeof the late Raymond J. McMahon.

Mrs. McMahon worked for 10 years at the former Webster Co. inNorth Attleboro many years ago. She owned Loretta's Beauty Salon inNorth Attleboro for 23 years, retiring years ago.

Born in Pawtucket July 7, 1916, she was the daughter of the lateHenry and Mary (Lorette) St. Jacques.

Mrs. McMahon is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Lucia ofNorth Attleboro and Donna Marie Major of Seymour, Conn.

She was the mother of the late Mary Lorette LeBlanc, and sisterof the late George, Raymond, Edward, Leo, Francis, Clarence,Richard and Henry St. Jacques, and Rena Ferguson. She also leaveseight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 8 a.m. Monday from the John J. DiamondFuneral Home, 180 North Washington St., North Attleboro, followedat 9 by a funeral Mass in Saint Martha's Church, South Street,Plainville. Burial will be private.

Mary Johansen, 74, homemaker

NORTH ATTLEBORO — Mary Elizabeth Johansen, 74, died Thursday inSturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro. She was the widow of EdwardJohansen.

Born in Medway on May 14, 1925, she was a daughter of the lateStanley and Grace (Sawyer) Corbett. She was raised in Medway andhad lived in Franklin for many years prior to moving to NorthAttleboro 11 years ago.

Mrs. Johansen was a homemaker.

She is survived by a son, Edward Johansen Jr. of Woonsocket,R.I.; three daughters, Mary Ellen Dangelo of Franklin, Grace Hurdof North Attleboro and Donna Yoda of Franklin; four sisters,Dorothy Longo and Ruth Mullens of Medway, Elvira Belair ofWoonsocket and Emma Lapirre of Wrentham; 14 grandchildren and sevengreat-grandchildren. She was a sister of the late Edward Corbettand Lucy Levine.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in St. John'sEpiscopal Church, Pleasant Street, Franklin. Burial will be inProspect Hill Cemetery, Millis.

Arrangements are by the Ginley Funeral Home, Franklin.

Bernard Pizura, 83, tool and die maker

NORTON — Bernard P. “Barney” Pizura, 83, died unexpectedlyFriday at home. He was the husband of Janina (Wolochowicz)Pizura.

He was a tool and die maker and had worked at the former GreenInstrument Co. in Cambridge for 35 years, retiring in 1981.

Born in Boston, March 26, 1916, he was a son of the late Peterand Tekla (Grimiak) Pizura. Mr. Pizura lived in Norton for the lastnine years, formerly living in Canton for 36 years, and before thatliving in Boston.

He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Mansfield.

He was educated in Hyde Park Schools and was a graduate ofBoston Tech.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Bill Pizura ofMansfield, and Frank Pizura of Norton; a daughter, Jeannine Donovanof Portland, Maine; and a brother, Charles Pizura of California. Heis also survived by seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildrenand several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the lateWilliam Pizura.

The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Monday from the NortonMemorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St., off of Route 140, followed at10:30 a.m. by a Mass of Christian burial in St. Mary's Church, 330Pratt St., Route 106, Mansfield. Burial will be in St. Michael'sCemetery, Roslindale.

John Wisniewski, 90, retired machinist

WRENTHAM — John Wisniewski, 90, of Elysium Street, diedWednesday at the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center inWrentham. He was the husband of Anne (Rudginski) Wisniewski.

Born in Boston on Aug. 14, 1908, he was a son of the late Johnand Petronella (Smithrowitz) Wisniewski. Raised in the South Bostonsection, he and his family began summering in Wrentham in 1939. Hebecame a year-round Wrentham resident in 1986.

Mr. Wisniewski had been employed as a machinist at the formerCambridge Screw Company until his retirement.

He was a member of the Wrentham Senior Citizens and the CastleIsland Association of South Boston. He was a communicant of St.Mary's Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, WalterWisniewski of Wrentham, John Wisniewski of Brentwood, Calif., andPaul Wisniewski of Pinella Park, Fla.; three daughters, AnneMarcinkevicis and Stephanie Marcin, both of Wrentham, and PatriciaBuonopane of Manchester, N.H.; a brother, Joseph Venesky of SouthBoston; a sister, Thecla Hunter of Quincy; 21 grandchildren and 18great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late JosephWisniewski and brother of the late Anna Rukus.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Mary'sChurch, 140 South St., Wrentham Center. Burial will follow in NewCalvary Cemetery, Boston.

Arrangements are by the R.J. Ross Funeral Home, 135 SouthSt.
